The Beachside Bakehouse originally started as 'bakesbyholly' on Instagram, a place where Holly would document creations from home and work in 2019. At the time she was training as an apprentice chef at Wiston House along side attending college to gain her certificates. During the first lockdown Holly's passion for cake grew exponentially and after a helpful shove from friends and family, The Beachside Bakehouse was born. It soon became a team effort in 2021 when her partner Joe joined to lighten the load.

Since then Holly and Joe have worked hard building a brand new cake kitchen themselves from scratch, sustained a 5 star hygiene rating from West Sussex council and opened up an online Etsy shop where they post orders UK wide. In late 2021 the couple attended their first ever market with The Great Little Farmers Market and have held many stalls since. Fast forward to 2022 when Holly designed her first ever wedding cake and loved the process so much she made the decision for that to be the main focus of the business going forward.

Holly has a dream to become a specialist wedding cake maker and to be your go to cake maker for every celebration. We hope to one day open a cake shop on the West Sussex coastline dedicated to Holly's creations.
